Regional Sports Authority District (RSAD) Program Open
RSAD grants promote tourism in Iowa by funding projects that relate to the active promotion of nonprofessional sporting events in the state. Convention & Visitors Bureaus are the only eligible applicants. RSAD awards are $50,000 and require a 50 percent cash match.
Applications for FY23 are due today, July 13, 2022, by 4:00 p.m. CT.

Learn MoreFY23 Iowa Tourism Grant (ITG) Application Opens August 24
The ITG program promotes tourism in Iowa by funding tourism-related marketing initiatives, meetings and events that benefit both local economies and the state's economy.
For the FY23 grant cycle, $300,000 is available and awards will range from $2,500 to $10,000 with a required 25 percent cash match.
The grant application link will be live at 10 a.m. on August 24 on the ITG webpage. The Iowa Tourism Office will accept applications until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28.

Partner Highlight: Arrivalist Data Helps Update Marketing for City of Newton
The City of Newton is looking at new ways and places to market their community outside of the metro. With the data from their Arrivalist Visitation Dashboard co-op they can now see how they can expand their marketing to reach out-of-state visitors.

The Arrivalist Visitation Dashboard co-op runs for a calendar year. The next opportunity to sign up will be in late 2022.
Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Launches 2022 Iowa State Park Passport
The 2022 Iowa State Park Passport launched July 1 and is being managed by our partners at the Iowa DNR. Great prizes are in store for consumers that check in as they visit state parks this summer.
