Join us for our Tourism Insider Meeting, hosted by PACT (Promoting Appanoose & Centerville Together), on Wednesday November 18th at The Magestic Theatre. The Tourism Insider Meeting series provides opportunities for industry partners from across the state to gather, collaborate, share ideas and network with colleagues in new locations. 5:30pm: Come in the night before and join your colleagues for a cocktail hour and private guided tour of historic Drake Hall. This is a great chance to catch up, meet other attendees and kick off your visit with one of Centerville's unique historic spaces.

- Tourism doesn’t always happen under ideal circumstances. This session will explore how destinations in Appanoose County have navigated challenges, adapted when circumstances change and continue telling an authentic, compelling story that keeps visitors and communities engaged.
- 12:30pm - Lunch, Build Your Own Pizza experience at George & Nick’s Pizza.
- 1:30pm-2pm - Tour of new Majestic hotel rooms
- 2pm-3pm - Panel #2 Tourism Takes a Village: Getting Businesses Bought Into the Visitor Economy
- Visitors experience a destination through its restaurants, retailers, attractions, lodging and the people they meet along the way. Hear directly from local business owners about the good, the bad and what tourism organizations can do to better engage, educate and equip businesses to embrace their role in the visitor economy.
