The meeting will start at 10 a.m. and lunch will be provided. It will include discussions about off-season tourism, a Localhood workshop, and tours of the Mason City Arena and Historic Park Inn, along with networking and an open forum.
The bulk of the meeting will occur from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, but we encourage you to consider spending the night and join us for Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning activities.
A hotel block is available at the Holiday Inn Express (3041 4th St. SW., Mason City) for the night of Tuesday, October 24. The rate is $132 + tax. Rooms must be reserved by calling the hotel directly at (641) 424-1200. The block is under the name "Travel Iowa." Reservation deadline is October 16.

Space reservations for the annual Iowa Travel Guide are due November 15. View the media kit for pricing and contact information to secure your space. We will be printing 100,000 copies of the annual guide for distribution in early March. Fall Getaways Featured on Paula Sands Live
Thank you to those of you who answered our call for stunning fall photos to showcase on Paula Sands Live. Jessica O’Riley appeared in four segments during the hour-long show on September 28 talking about ways to enjoy fall colors in Mason City, Webster City, Charles City, Pella/Marion County, Winterset/Madison County, Boone County, Burlington, Washington and along the Great River Road. She also gave a preview of winter events. On September 29, Jessica also appeared on Everyday Iowa in Cedar Rapids to talk about fall events.Iowa in the News
